Trip Grading
To make your planning and participation easier, we've established a trip grading system. This system classifies trips into five categories, from the easiest (E Grade) to the most challenging (A Grade).

E
The easiest type of trip. Suitable for all 4WD vehicles. May involve some dirt road driving, mild terrain, and a very remote chance of a recovery situation.

4WD required for small trip sections. Suitable for Soft Roaders with consideration to approach and departure angles. May include shallow water crossings.

C
The most common trip. Participants must have completed the club's Driver Awareness Program. Suitable for 4WDs with low range gears and good clearance.

B
Moderate to difficult rating. Vehicle modifications usually required, i.e. body/suspension lifts, M/T tires, and traction aids. Involves harder terrain like rock steps and bog holes.

A
The most difficult trip. Participants need extensive experience. Well-modified 4WDs with difflocks, winches, body and suspension lifts, and 33" M/T tires.
