About Us

In 1976, a small group of local adventurers united under a common vision, laying the foundation for the Blue Mountains 4WD Club. From these humble beginnings, our club has blossomed into a thriving community of explorers, driven by a shared passion for the great outdoors.

We are dedicated to promoting responsible four-wheel driving and maintain strong partnerships with environmental organisations. Our love for exploration goes hand in hand with our commitment to conservation. The Blue Mountains 4WD Club is a tight-knit family. Our members span generations, and our culture is one of inclusivity, where everyone finds a home.

Embark on a journey like no other, and become a part of our story. Join the Blue Mountains 4WD Club, where adventure and camaraderie are at the forefront of everything we do.

Our Mission

As a foundation member of the state Association and National Council of 4WD Clubs, we actively advocate for and protect responsible four-wheel driving as a recreational pursuit. We maintain strong relationships with National Parks, local councils, and land management organisations, ensuring our adventures are as environmentally conscious as they are exhilarating.

What Brings Us Together

What sets the Blue Mountains 4WD Club apart is our inclusivity. You don't need an extensively modified vehicle to be part of our community. Many of our members initially joined with stock vehicles, curious to learn more about four-wheel driving. Our family-oriented club welcomes individuals and families alike, covering generations from young families to retirees. The first step is to attend one of our club meetings and witness the excitement of 4WD adventures firsthand.
